Yea it just released yesterday, its a little crashy at points but the devs are hot-fixing like mad to fix every error. Pretty fun too. |

True enough. That's one aspect I could live without is the first person thing they got going on. If it were to go MMO they would have to heavily modify the flight mechanics. But the rest of the game is still pretty top notch. |

Bit of an understatement Egosoft have apologised for the state of it. It's a matter of taste if you like or not as a game, but the playability issues (low fps, lack of joystick support,, multiple crashes, corrupted save games etc) indicate very poor QA. Few mods that are out drastically improve the UI functionality. As far as the buggy release, yea... Its got its share of them, but at least theyre trying.
Bad releases seem to be a common theme these days. Hell when I first played EvE in 2003 it was pretty ******* rough. But it got fixed. These will as well. |
